Tight end Jordan Reed suffered a quad contusion after taking a helmet to the leg in Sunday’s 27-20 loss to the Detroit Lions at FedEx Field.

Reed had taken over as the team’s primary pass-catching tight end with Fred Davis sidelined by a sprained ankle, and but left the game in the second half with an injury of his own.

“It’s real frustrating I couldn’t keep playing,” Reed said in the locker room after the game. “I’ve got to come in [Monday] and see what kind of treatment I need.”

Fantasy Impact:

Reed had five catches for 50 yards on six targets and is starting to see some hype as he continues to produce respectable numbers. Logan Paulsen is next up on the depth chart if both Davis and Reed miss time.
