Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen exited the game Sunday with a first-quarter shoulder sprain suffered while shielding himelf from collision. Despite the interruption, he still padded his résumé for NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year, totaling three catches for 59 yards and two touchdowns in a 37-14 win.
It was the first multi-touchdown game of his career.
After going to the locker room for further evaluation, Allen received a shot and returned in the second quarter. In his first drive back, he caught a 4-yard touchdown on a corner route against blown coverage. Allen looks like he'll be a go next week against the Broncos on a short week. After that, in Week 16, he gets the Raiders - two pretty favorable matchups in the future.
