Guillotine League Week 14 Waiver Wire and Best Starts
Getting to this point in the guillotine format is not an easy feat, so pat yourselves on the back, or wherever if you’re still alive. Four teams remain to battle it out for the next three weeks but the waiver process changes from here on out.
You are unable to add any players who were chopped last week or any other moving forward, but you can still add regular waiver guys to bolster your squad. With injuries still occurring each and every week, it’s a good idea to keep a few bucks if a league winner were to emerge.
For the next three weeks, this column will feature a section with some waiver players who could be advantageous to bid on, along with another featuring some good starts for the week since it’s getting difficult to distinguish amongst all the solid players now on our guillotine rosters.
Week 15 Waiver Adds
Jauan Jennings, WR - 49ers (37.4% rostered)
Last week George Kittle posted the most receiving yards on the 49ers offense, but Jauan Jennings led the pack in targets, receptions, and receiving touchdowns. With a constant carousel of players due to injury, the 27-year-old has emerged as a weapon for Brock Purdy and could be useful in a possible shootout with LA this week.
Jerry Jeudy, WR - Browns (39.6% rostered)
While he didn't match his insane Week 13 output, Jerry Jeudy found the end zone again on Sunday and has scored in three of his last four contests. He and Jameis Winston clearly have chemistry and the Chiefs are 24th in WR aFPA, so the former Bronco could be an asset in Week 15.
Rachaad White, WR - Buccaneers (18.5% rostered)
Fellow Bucs RB Bucky Irving left last week’s contest with a back injury and is questionable heading into Week 15. Rachaad White is the RB19 in PPR scoring on a per-game basis in 2024, even with Irving and Sean Tucker in the mix, and he’s seen double-digit touches in all but one game out of 13. White has a sweet matchup with Carolina in Week 17 and is only on 18.5% of rosters, so grabbing him now may be a difference-maker.
Isaac Guerendo, RB - 49ers (35.9% rostered)
In his first NFL start, Isaac Guerendo had a solid showing, posting 128 combined yards and two touchdowns last week against the Bears. He’s dealing with a foot injury and has a short turnaround as San Francisco plays on Thursday. If he’s unable to go, Patrick Taylor is likely the next man up and is worth an add if you’re RB needy.
Sincere McCormick, RB - Raiders (0% rostered)
It appears that Sincere McCormick is the new lead back in Las Vegas, and he’s seen 31 touches over the last two weeks which is 18th among all RBs. The Raiders’ offense isn’t exactly high-octane which is a concern and the Falcons this week aren’t the softest opponent, but in Weeks 16 and 17 McCormick gets the Jags and Saints who rank 32nd and 31st in RB aFPA.
Best Week 15 Matchups
I’m not including QBs or TEs since you are likely starting who you’re starting with little choice or variety there. All numbers in parentheses are schedule-adjusted fantasy points or aFPA against that position.
