Lions agreed to terms with former Packers’ WR Geronimo Allison.

The former Packer should provide depth behind Kenny Golladay and Marvin Jones. Geronimo Allison is unlikely to be fantasy relevant without an injury to one of those two.

Sources: Former #Rams K Greg Zuerlein is headed to the #Cowboys, rejoining special teams coach John Fassel. Zuerlein gets a three-year deal with a base value of $7.5 million.

Greg Zuerlein always has a seat at the K1 table for fantasy purposes and now "The Leg" will be in Dallas on a three-year deal.

Source: Former #Titans WR Tajae Sharpe is signing with the #Vikings on 1-year deal. He’ll likely be the No. 2 alongside Adam Thielen, filling the void left by the Stefon Diggs trade.

With Stefon Diggs in Buffalo, Tajae Sharpe could find himself as the WR2 in Minnesota, but they will probably draft another wideout as well. The former Titan has a career line of 92-1,167-8 in 47 games (29 starts).

Peyton Barber to the Redskins on a two-year deal, per source. Bucs’ 2018 leading rusher enters Washington fray.

Peyton Barber joins Adrian Peterson and Derius Guice in the Washington backfield for 2020. Barber's best season was in 2018, where he ran for 871 yards and five touchdowns, plus added another 92 yards and a score in the air. He'll compete for a roster spot and work on his new team.

The #49ers are signing former #Chargers WR Travis Benjamin, source said. Added depth in SF. He gets a 1-year deal.

Travis Benjamin spent most of 2019 on IR with a quad injury, but is a deep threat when on the field. Kyle Shanahan may find creative ways to use Benjamin in 2020, but the 49ers have a plethora of receivers, muddling their fantasy value.

WR Phillip Dorsett just texted me he is going to the #Seahawks on a 1-year deal.

After three underwhelming seasons in New England, Phillip Dorsett heads to a Seattle team already pretty deep at widout including T.J. Lockett., DK Metcalf and David Moore. He isn't really on the fantasy radar despite his new home.

Former Jets’ WR Robby Anderson is signing a two-year, $20 million deal including $12 million in year one with the Carolina Panthers, per source.

This is a surprising signing given the team's top two receivers (D.J. Moore and Curtis Samuel), but it's a further boost to Teddy Bridgewater's stock as he has one of the top receiving corps in the league. Anderson is a good all-around receiver but he thrives in the deep passing game which is not something that Bridgewater utilizes regularly. Robby Anderson and Samuel's fantasy stock are both down with this signing. Sam Darnold's stock is also down since it looked for a moment that Anderson might return to the Jets.

Panthers are expected to release QB Cam Newton today, sources tell ESPN.

This move will come as no surprise since Cam Newton's trade value has diminished without the ability to be seen by any team doctors. There are certainly teams who could use the 30-year old's services including the Los Angeles Chargers and New England Patriots. Stay tuned for updates on his release and fantasy outlook.

Traded! The #Panthers sending QB Kyle Allen to the #Redskins, per source.
The #Redskins sent a 5th round pick to the #Panthers in exchange for QB Kyle Allen, source said. With Carolina signing PJ Walker today, this helps the QB room take shape.

Kyle Allen joins Dwayne Haskins in the QB room, and will reunite with former head coach Ron Rivera and QB coach Scott Turner.

Former Eagles WR Nelson Agholor is signing a one-year deal with the Las Vegas Raiders, per source.

The former Eagles wideout was underwhelming in 2019 with 39 catches for 363 yards and three touchdowns in 11 games. The Raiders wide receiving corps isn't exactly star-studded, so Agholor could find work in the slot in 2020.

WR Emmanuel Sanders just text it's a 2 year deal to New Orleans.

Emmanuel Sanders showed he still has plenty left in the tank last season, posting 869 yards and five touchdowns between his stints with Denver and San Francisco. He joins a Saints offense that's led by Michael Thomas and Alvin Kamara, but he provides an upgrade over both Ted Ginn and TreQuan Smith.

Source: The #Broncos and RB Melvin Gordon have agreed to terms on a 2-year deal worth $16M with $13.5M guaranteed. The former #Chargers star stays in the division, creating a strong 1-2 punch with Phillip Lindsay.

This is an interesting signing considering both Phillip Lindsay and Royce Freeman were productive in 2019. Melvin Gordon is the better pass-catcher out of this trio, but for fantasy purposes, we're looking at a muddy situation until another move takes place.

Former Colts TE Eric Ebron is going to the Steelers on a two-year, $12 million deal, per source.

Pittsburgh restructured Vance McDonald's contract so he should still be around this season. Ebron figures to play more snaps and have a larger role than McDonald given the size of this deal. Ebron has struggled with drops, but he has also led all tight ends in touchdowns (16) over the last two seasons. The 26-year old should be a top target for Ben Roethlisberger in 2020.

According to reports, we have agreed to terms with RB Todd Gurley.

Just 25-years old, Todd Gurley is a three-time Pro Bowler and two-time All-Pro. He's dealt with chronic knee issues over the past two seasons and was let go from the LA Rams yesterday. Devonta Freeman's release vacated plenty of volume with not much competition in the Atlanta backfield, so if he can remain healthy Gurley could potentially prove to be an inexpensive asset to fantasy squads.

Rams are releasing RB Todd Gurley, per source. Cutting him today spares the Rams from having to pay him an additional $10.5 million due today. Rams spent weeks exploring a trade for him. Now Gurley will be free to sign with any team.

Letting Todd Gurley go costs the Rams $2.9 million against the cap, leaving $20.15 million in dead money, but they would have had to pay a $10.5 million roster bonus soon. Although only 25 years old, Gurley has had prolonged knee issues that have plagued him over the past two seasons. Add him to an already interesting RB free agent pool.

Broncos just informed former Super-Bowl MVP Joe Flacco that he is being waived with a failed physical designation, per source.

Flacco now joins a group of free-agent QBs looking for work.

Joe Flacco missed the final eight games of the 2019 season due to a neck injury, commencing the Drew Lock era in Denver. A starting job may not be in the cards for Flacco, but could find work as a veteran backup for a team with a young signal-caller.

The #Redskins are signing RB J.D. McKissic to a two-year deal, source said.

in 2019 with the Lions, J.D. McKissic had 438 combined yards, with 34 receptions and one touchdown. He'll most likely be the passing back behind Derrius Guice and Adrian Peterson in D.C.

QB trade: Jacksonville is trading QB Nick Foles to Chicago for the Bears’ compensatory fourth-round pick, sources tell ESPN.

Bears’ coaches such as Matt Nagy have worked with Foles in past and know him well.

Some veteran competition for Mitchell Trubisky is a good thing and now Nick Foles will attempt to snag another starting role. He only played in four games last season for the Jaguars due to an injury to his collarbone, but is a competent passer who should probably be a starter in the league, though he adds nothing as a runner so his ceiling will be limited in Chicago. The trade is good news for the Chicago pass-catchers, especially Allen Robinson.

Brady announced earlier today that he was leaving the Patriots, and word broke later that the Chargers didn't feel that they were in the running anymore. The Bucs offer a good set of weapons -- Chris Godwin, Mike Evans and O.J. Howard, whose career may get a jumpstart with Brady under center -- so Brady could be very fantasy relevant in 2020. However, the Bucs were third in passing yards, seventh in completions and third in passing touchdowns, so Godwin and Evans will be hard-pressed to match their numbers from last year even if the overall efficiency of the Tampa offense improves. Jarrett Stidham currently sits atop the New England depth chart.

Former Cowboys’ TE Jason Witten reached agreement on a one-year deal with the Las Vegas Raiders, source tells ESPN.

Witten's 2019 wasn't terrible, as he finished as TE11 in PPR points. This signing is a bit odd considering Darren Waller and Foster Moreau are already on the Raiders roster. The 37-year old is not on the fantasy radar as we head into the summer.

Former Chargers' QB Philip Rivers and the Colts reached agreement on a 1-year deal, per source.

Colts are giving Philip Rivers a one-year, $25 million deal, per source.

Philip Rivers ends his 16-year tenure with the Chargers as their all-time leader in passing yards (59,271), passing touchdowns (397) and completions (4,908). He joins the Colts having started every game since 2006 and inherits a talented offense featuring T.Y. Hilton, Marlon Mack and third-year wideout Zach Pascal.

Dolphins and former Eagles' RB Jordan Howard reached agreement on a two-year deal worth north of $10 million, per source.

Miami comes in with another solid signing this free agency. Jordan Howard will add to the Dolphins depleted backfield as a veteran runner who should average about 4.4 yards per carry in 2020.

Carolina is giving former Saints' QB Teddy Bridgewater a three-year, $63 million deal, per source.

This signing comes on the heels of the Panthers announcing that they are permitting Cam Newton to seek a trade, but Newton's response indicates that they didn't give him a choice. Meanwhile, Bridgewater's performance filling in for an injured Drew Brees was enough to earn him roughly $20 million per year in Carolina. He completed 67.9% of his passes for 1384 yards, nine touchdowns and two interceptions with a 7.1 YPA. Fantasy-wise, he'll have two good receivers to throw to in D.J. Moore and Curtis Samuel, while Christian McCaffrey is one of the best receiving backs in the league, so it's a good situation. He'll likely be ranked as a low-end QB2/high-end QB3 this summer.

Big news: Based on the previous discussions between the #Panthers organization and Cam Newton’s agents, it has been agreed upon to allow Cam and his agency team to seek a trade. Other details to follow.

There are certainly a number of teams who could use Cam Newton as their signal-caller, and it will be interesting to see how the QB pieces fall into place.

The #Saints agree to terms with QB Drew Brees, source said. He gets a 2-year deal worth roughly $50M. Never in doubt, but now done. And Brees took less to help the team continue to build.

No surprise, here. It's pretty clear Drew Brees wants to make another Super Bowl run with this talented Saints team. John Paulsen currently has Brees as QB13 in his never-too-early fantasy rankings.

We kind of saw it coming, but weren't sure it would actually happen. Tom Brady's departure will certainly cause a domino effect in the QB free agency system over the next day or so. The Chargers and Buccaneers have been the top rumored teams involved and it will be interesting to see how it plays out for the 42-year old future Hall-of-Famer.

Randall Cobb will attempt to fill in the massive hole left by DeAndre Hopkins in the Texans offense. His arrival isn't the best news for Keke Coutee.

Amari Cooper intends to re-sign with the Dallas Cowboys on a 5-year, $100 million deal, league sources tell ESPN.

This move should have been a no-brainer for Dallas. Amari Cooper was the fantasy WR10 in 2019 and that was with a bit of inconsistency at the end of the season due to both knee and ankle issues.

Bills have acquired @stefondiggs in a trade from the Vikings.

Diggs has been cryptically tweeting about a change and it finally happened. The run-heavy Bills actually attempted 47 more passes than the even run-heavier Vikings last year, though the Vikings completed 20 more passes than the Bills, so it's debatable what this does for Diggs' fantasy value. It's a boon for Josh Allen, who has another great weapon in the arsenal to go along with John Brown and Cole Beasley. Both of those receivers take a hit as Diggs is sure to absorb 7+ targets per game as the Bills' alpha WR1. Diggs departure leaves Kirk Cousins scratching his head and Adam Thielen as the Vikings' WR1.

Jimmy Graham to the Bears on a two-year, $16 million deal, including $9 million guaranteed, per source.

2019 wasn't a great one for Jimmy Graham, as he posted just 447 receiving yards and three scores. The Bears have some playmakers on their offense, but the QB situation is still somewhat of a question mark. Despite his new home, Graham is not on the fantasy radar as a starting TE in 2020. He may end up as streamer, however, depending on how the rest of the offseason pans out.

Browns reached agreement with former Redskins' QB Case Keenum on a three-year, $18 million deal that includes $10 million guaranteed, per source.

Case Keenum has yet to show much since his magic season in 2017 with Minnesota, but the 32-year old keeps getting gigs. He'll provide some veteran leadership for Baker Mayfield and can keep things going if needed in Cleveland.

Atlanta gets tight end Hayden Hurst and Ravens 2020 4th-round pick. Baltimore gets Falcons 2020 2nd-round pick, and Falcons 2020 5th-round pick, sources tell ESPN.

Hayden Hurst had a decent 2019, catching 30-of-39 targets for 349 yards and two touchdowns. He was behind Mark Andrews and Nick Boyle for the most part, and should see more work in the Falcons offense, replacing Austin Hooper who is now a Cleveland Brown.

Texans are trading DeAndre Hopkins to Arizona, per source.

Wowza. Kyler Murray gains an elite WR in Hopkins, who has finished as WR5, WR1 and WR1 going backwards over the past three seasons. Fire up Hopkins as a top-three wideout in all fantasy formats for 2020.

Trade: Cardinals and Texans are agreeing to a trade that will send David Johnson to Houston, sources tell ESPN.

Houston is a great landing spot for David Johnson, as he should see more work than if he were to remain a Cardinal for the 2020 season. Johnson was RB37 in fantasy points last season.

#Falcons free agent TE Austin Hooper, the top player at his position, is headed to the #Browns, per @TomPelissero, @MikeSilver
and me. They’ve agreed to terms, he’s the new highest-paid TE.

Austin Hooper reportedly becomes the highest-paid TE in the NFL with a four-year deal worth $44 million. This adds another weapon for Baker Mayfield in an already talented arsenal featuring Jarvis Landry and Odell Beckham. It may be tough for Hooper to repeat 2019's TE6 finish.

Wow. The #AZCardinals have given RB Kenyan Drake the transition tag, source said.

With the transition tag, the Cardinals get the right of first refusal to match any offer that Kenyan Drake may make with another team. The 26-year old had an exceptional season in Arizona after being traded to the desert from Miami halfway through the 2019 season. This move should keep Drake with the Cards and he should work ahead of David Johnson in 2020.

Browns placed a second-round tender on running back Kareem Hunt.

Kareem Hunt played in eight games in 2019, posting just 464 combined yards and three touchdowns. he'll continue to be second-fiddle to Nick Chubb in the Browns backfield.

Titans placed franchise tag on RB Derrick Henry, per source.

This was the next domino to fall after Tennessee re-signed Ryan Tannehill. Derrick Henry is coming off a career year of 1,746 combined yards and 18 touchdowns. The 26-year old is currently being drafted as RB6 in the first round in early best-ball drafts and with Dion Lewis out of the way, he could possibly not get game-scripted off the field in 2020.

The #Bengals informed star WR A.J. Green they're placing the franchise tag on him, per source.

Despite A.J. Green wanting out, it appears that won't be the case for the 31-year old wideout. He could still hold out, but for now, it looks like he'll make $17.9 million under the franchise tag.

The #Falcons are releasing RB Devonta Freeman, source says, saving more than $3M against the salary cap and moving on from their former starter.

Atlanta will take a $6 million hit in dead money by letting Freeman go, but will also save $6.5 million in the RB's salary. The 28-year old missed most of 2018 and only posted 656 rushing yards with two touchdowns via the ground last season in 14 contests. Freeman should have no trouble finding a new home, but he'll probably have to share the workload in whichever backfield he lands.

This deal has Kirk Cousins under center for Minnesota through the 2022 season and he certainly has plenty of fantasy weapons at his disposal. John Paulsen currently has Cousins as QB18 in his early rankings.

Sources: The #Titans and QB Ryan Tannehill have agreed to terms on an extension. He’s staying in Tennessee. Their priority all along.

With Ryan Tannehill staying in Tennesee, this means they'll likely franchise tag Derrick Henry and the rumors can head elsewhere for Tom Brady. John Paulsen has the 31-year old ranked as QB13 in his early rankings and Tannehill is currently being drafted in the 10th round in FFPC Best-ball leagues.

Sources: The #Chargers have franchise tagged TE Hunter Henry, keeping a key playmaker in the fold for another year.

When on the field, Hunter Henry is a mismatch for defenders and one of the best tight ends in the league. He's missed 23 contests out of a possible 64 due to injury though, which has some fantasy managers a bit hesitant to pull the trigger on the 25-year old. Henry should be a mid-range TE1 come draft season, and especially with his quarterback situation unknown, he could provide a solid check-down option in 2020.

In football news, Titans informed RB Dion Lewis that they are releasing him, per source.

Letting Dion Lewis go will create $4 million in cap space with just $1.1 million in dead money for the Titans. His time in Tennessee was a mixed bag, but the 29-year-old, pass-catching back still has the ability to provide some help to several backfields in 2020.

Packers are releasing TE Jimmy Graham on Thursday, per source. He will become an immediate free agent.

This was an expected move as it saves Green Bay $8 million in cap space. Entering his 11th season at age 33, Graham hasn't been very impactful in both real and fantasy football for a number of seasons. The rumor mill has the Packers going after Austin Hooper, which would be an interesting upgrade for Aaron Rodgers.

Chargers and restricted free-agent RB Austin Ekeler reached agreement on a four-year, $24.5 million deal that includes $15 million guaranteed, sources tell ESPN.

This deal for Ekeler makes him the starter at RB for Los Angeles as they're clearly moving on from Melvin Gordon. The 24-year old finished as RB4 in total PPR points in 2019, amassing 1,550 combined yards on 132 rushes and 92 receptions. He's currently a second-round pick in early best-ball drafts, but could bump up to a first-rounder as we move through the off-season.

One potential play-maker hitting the market: #Packers TE Jimmy Graham is not expected back in Green Bay, sources say. The move with the 33-year old former free agent signing is noteable, though not a surprise for anyone involved.

Jimmy Graham comes with an $8 million base salary in 2020, so it will come as no surprise if they do move on from the 33-year old tight end. His two seasons with the Packers produced a non-impactful line of 93-1083-5 on 149 total targets.

The #Chargers and WR Travis Benjamin are mutually parting ways after the team and agent Ron Butler met at the Combine, source said. Benjamin, who has been with the team since 2016, will be a free agent when the league year begins.

Benjamin was on IR for most of 2019, playing in just five contests. The Chargers former WR3 could find himself in a much better position in 2020 depending on where he signs during the free-agent period.
