Prescott becomes the first player to receive a contract averaging $60 million per year and shatters the previous record of $55 million that was shared by Joe Burrow and Trevor Lawrence. After an offseason full of speculation about Prescott’s future, the Cowboys get the deal done after all. Freeman did pretty well when he saw action with the Rams toward the end of last season. He was with Dallas this summer where he drew some hype, and for about a week the team had us convinced he may see significant action for the Cowboys. However, he was eventually released.
