If Stevenson misses Week 6 (which seems likely), Gibson jumps up into a very interesting role, possibly as a consistent check-down option in Drake Maye's first start. It won't feel great, but he can be considered a borderline RB2 in that scenario.

Outside of two rookies (Ja'Lynn Polk, Javon Baker), New England doesn't have much firepower, which could equate to Henry leading the team in targets in a handful of weeks. In what may have been a high-scoring affair, the Bengals might be missing both Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins, which dampens most Patriots options.

Consider Henry a deep target in 2TE leagues.

RB Antonio Gibson relays that his hip responded well in Friday’s practice, and he is optimistic he’ll be ready to go for Sunday’s opening game barring an unexpected turn.

Gibson doesn't have a ton of standalone value in an offense we're not excited about, but if he were to miss, it would boost Stevenson's usage, particularly in the receiving game.

Consider Stevenson an RB3 as he heads into Cincinnati.

The New England Patriots and Rhamondre Stevenson reached an agreement on a four-year extension worth $36 million, with $17 million guaranteed. Entering the final year of his rookie deal, Stevenson said during mandatory minicamp that sides were “pretty close” on a contract. Ten days later, the pact came to fruition. The extension keeps the Pats' top back under contract through 2028.

Stevenson burst out in 2022, generating 1,040 rushing yards and 421 receiving yards. The 1,461 scrimmage yards is notable, given the incentives in his new deal. The Pats are betting their leading rusher gets back on track after an injury-riddled 2023 relegated him to 12 games and 857 scrimmage yards. Consider him a nice RB2 in fantasy for 2024.

Former Commanders' running back Antonio Gibson is expected to join the Patriots.

The Patriots backfield looks like it's going to be an absolute nightmare for fantasy purposes, as part of one of the worst offenses in the league. Gibson shouldn't be more than a late-round dart.

This should leave Brian Robinson as the bellcow in Washington.

After a key injury to Brian Robinson, we got to see a little bit more of the rookie, including a two-touchdown in Week 16, which was nice for dynasty owners who took a stab in rookie drafts. There's a chance that Antonio Gibson gets a huge workload ahead of a touch matchup against the 49ers in Week 17.

Chris Rodriguez took a surprising amount of early-down work last week, and should have a decent RB3 role, particularly in Standard or point-per-carry leagues. Gibson should maintain the pass-catching role and be an asset in half-PPR leagues as an RB3 in his own right.

Commanders RB Brian Robinson (hamstring) is out Sunday vs. the Rams.

This is shaping up as a good week for Antonio Gibson has an RB2, while Chris Rodriguez can be considered a desperation FLEX play with some touchdown equity in a game that has the potential to be a shootout.

Not looking good for Robinson's Week 15 availability, as his injury came halfway through the team's Week 13 game, immediately before their bye week. GIbson logged 14 opportunities for 72 total yards two weeks ago, and would figure to be the RB1 once again, presenting a solid fantasy floor against the Rams.
