The Jaguars are expected to sign former Bears 2nd rounder and most recently Texans WR Anthony Miller.

Miller will start on the practice squad but the tweet indicated it shouldn't be long before Miller is promoted to the roster. With the loss of D.J. Chark for the season, Miller has a chance to eventually battle for WR3 snaps at some point this year on a Jags team that figures to be playing from behind a lot.

The Houston Texans are moving on from WR Anthony Miller. Miller had five receptions from 23 yards and one touchdown over two games.

Miller cost the Texans a draft pick to acquire him and now he is no longer on their roster. What looked like a promising career as a former 2nd-round pick hit another snag Wednesday.

David Culley did not have an update on the severity of WR Anthony Miller’s shoulder dislocation, but he said he is hopeful Miller will play this season.

The injury was called a “slight dislocation” immediately after the game. Miller previously underwent surgeries on his left shoulder after experiencing dislocations, however this injury was to his right shoulder. This will obviously set him back for any kind of significant playing time upon his return.

The Houston Texans unofficial depth chart on their website lists WR Chris Conley as the second starting wide receiver, according to Aaron Wilson. Anthony Miller and and KeKe Coutee are listed second behind Conley and Brandin Cooks. Nico Collins is as a WR6.

This is not a surprise according to Wilson, but on a team that is unsettled at the position, it is noteworthy to see Conley as a starter. The Texans should be an avoid in all drafts as long as Deshaun Watson is not under center.

It's a fresh start for Anthony Miller, but this trade also shows the that Bears are confident in Darnell Mooney. Miller will have to get by Randall Cobb for slot work though, so expectations shouldn't be too high for Miller's fantasy season in 2021.

Allen Robinson is questionable for Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints, according to the Chicago Bears injury report. He remains in the concussion protocol.

UPDATE: Robinson is now listed as doubtful according to Dan Wiederer of the Chicago Tribune.
