Wide receiver Stefon Diggs’s first season with the Texans is reportedly over.

Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans announced on Tuesday that Diggs has been diagnosed with a torn ACL. Diggs left Sunday’s win over the Colts with a knee injury and went for further tests over the last couple of days.

Diggs had been ruled out of Thursday's game with the Jets but the hope was he'd be able to come back after that. As for the Texans offense, the injury comes at a time when Collins is on injured reserve with a hamstring injury, so a once-deep Texans receiving corps has been thinned out considerably, the story pointed out. Dell, Metchie, Hutchinson, Woods and Sims are the remaining receivers on the 53-man roster until Collins can make his return. Schultz, the TE, should be move involved at least in the short term. The hope is Collins is back in Week 10 as reports say he's been trending in the right direction.

The Buffalo Bills have signed WR Steven Sims according to the team's Public Relations Twitter account.

Big news? Not really, but with injuries to Isaiah McKenzie and Marquez Stevenson, the Bills needed depth at the position and for returning duties. Short of a rash of injuries, Sims has no value in re-draft leagues.

Washington Football Team WR Dontrelle Inman is doubtful for Sunday's game against the New York Giants, according to the NFL official injury report.

This news comes as Steven Sims logged three consecutive practices this week. The matchup is advantageous for WFT receivers, but the ceiling makes Sims and potentially Inman nothing more than WR5/6 players.

WR Steven Sims was placed on Injured Reserve due to a toe injury, according to the Washington Football Team's official release.

Sims was a deep sleeper coming into 2020, but is having a lost season. He will be allowed to play again at some point in the second half of the season if he can get healthy.

Washington Football Team WR Steven Sims is not practicing Friday, according to John Keim of ESPN.

Sims is a safety valve for QB Dwayne Haskins, so a week without him would be impactful for a team lacking consistency on offense. Sims would be a WR4/5 if he were to play Sunday.
