Seahawks WR DK Metcalf was a full participant today in practice after missing two games with a knee injury. A sign that he'll be back on Sunday.

Mike MacDonald says DK Metcalf is expected to practice Wednesday.

Metcalf suffered a MCL sprain and missed weeks 8 and 9 and is coming off the bye week, so the hope is Metcalf is good to go for Week 11. It will be worth monitoring the injury and practice reports this week. The Seahawks travel to San Francisco in a later Sunday game so owners will at least want to have a plan in place just in case he's a game-time call.

Metcalf was sorely missed in Week 8, when no other receivers were able to step up outside of JSN going 6-69-0. Lockett, in particular, was a regrettable fantasy start, while Geno Smith had only 212 yards and zero touchdowns for the first time all season. Smith-Njigba is the only reliable part of the passing attack (along with Kenneth Walker) this week.

This is a tough matchup against the Rams' secondary, but there's also a chance for a shootout not that L.A.'s pass-catchers are back to health. JSN remains an interesting Flex play, while Lockett can't be trusted at this point.

After Sunday’s win over the Falcons, Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald said receiver DK Metcalf’s knee injury “doesn’t look too bad.”

There’s now some more clarity on Metcalf’s situation.

Per Adam Schefter of ESPN, Metcalf suffered a Grade 1 MCL sprain and is considered week-to-week.

Metcalf, 26, has recorded 35 receptions for 568 yards with three touchdowns so far this season. The Seahawks host the Bills in Week 8 and the Rams in Week 9 before their Week 10 bye. Seattle will issue its first injury report of the week on Wednesday, the story said. Generally, week to week really puts into doubt a players status, so owners may want to begin thinking about another plan in the event Metcalf can't go. The looming bye week could easily mean the team at least sits him out one, if not two, weeks. But, as the story said, the injury report could give us a better idea. Metcalf is a later Sunday game so it could get tricky for adjusting lineups.

Seahawks WR DK Metcalf's knee injury doesn't appear to be serious, according to a report from Ian Rapoport.

Metcalf was carted off after banging his knee on a great catch in the game. HC Mike McDonald said about the injury, "It doesn't look too bad," according to Rapoport's report. Owners will have to monitor his status this week as there is no timetable. The Seahawks have a later Sunday game at home against the Bills. The team does have a bye in Week 10.

The Seahawks added RB Kenneth Walker III to the injury report with an illness.

Walker is now listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Falcons. Seattle plays in the early window Sunday so we’ll know by about 11:30 in the morning if Walker will be able to play. If not, it’ll be another opportunity for Zach Charbonnet to carry the load on offense.
