Bears designated RB Khalil Herbert, WR Equanimeous St. Brown and DB Josh Blackwell for return from injured reserve.

The Bears play on Thursday this week at home against the Panthers, but it's not a lock Herbert goes in Week 10. Herbert was playing well before his injury, so we can perhaps assume he'll slide back into his RB1 role with Johnson as the RB2. But this could be shaping up to be a messy fantasy situation with the potential for a three-headed monster at the position.

Bengals Ja'Marr Chase making it sound like his back injury will be something worth monitoring. Concerned tone, to be certain, from him.

"I’m just going to support my teammates, man. Let those guys do what they got to do. Only thing I can do is get healthy for the team."

Dehner went on to say that Chase added he fell on his back. "As for right now, that's all I know, for real." Chase continued and said he's "pretty sore just moving around," and the injury, "got worse as the game went on," according to the rest of Dehner's posts. We'll have to continue to monitor his practice statuses this week. The Bengals play an early game at home against the Texans, so owners should have time to adjust lineups if he comes down to a game-time decision.

Joe Burrow could be seen working on his right index finger during the first half of the game and he got some attention on the sideline as well.

“Little cut, nothing bad,” Burrow said in his postgame press conference.

None of the machinations got in the way of Burrow throwing a 22-yard touchdown to tight end Drew Sample before halftime and Burrow go 31-of-44 for 348 yards and two touchdowns over the course of the 24-18 win over the Bills, the story said.

On Monday, head coach Shane Steichen said that he is “always self-evaluating everything” and said there were “absolutely” chances to run the ball after watching the film of the loss but that the scoreboard helped dictate the move in the other direction.

“Sometimes the game, the flow of the game will kind of dictate how it’s called there,” Steichen said, via Joel A. Erickson of the Indianapolis Star. “You’re down two scores in the fourth quarter. Could I have popped a run in there? Absolutely, but I decided to throw it there towards the end.”

The story went on to say Taylor had 11 carries for 94 yards over the first two quarters, but he didn’t get much of an opportunity to build on it in the second half. Taylor ran once for a yard on the first play of the third quarter, but the Colts went with Moss as their back on the next possession and then went three-and-out with three passes to open the fourth quarter. The Saints would go up 15 points before the next Colts drive and running was off the table for the rest of the 38-27 loss.

Bears RB Roschon Johnson has one more hurdle to clear concussion protocol but Eberflus said it "looks real good" for him to practice Wednesday.

With Herbert on IR, Johnson could come back to a significant role in the running game for the Bears if he's back in Week 8. However, Foreman was pretty good in Week 7, scoring three touchdowns and running for 89 on 16 carries. Johnson seemed to be ahead of Foreman prior to being concussed so it remains to be seen if that will still be the case. Foreman added three catches for 31 yards. The return of Johnson should at least put him as the team's RB2, pushing Evans down the depth chart. Evans was a factor in Week 7 as well, running 14 times for 48 yards while adding a six-yard catch. However the game script against the Chargers could be different in Week 8 compared to how things went for the Bears in Week 7 vs. the Raiders. The Bears and Chargers are a Sunday night contest.

Bears RBs Khalil Herbert, Roschon Johnson and Travis Homer are all officially out for Sunday's game vs. Minnesota.

With at least some familiarity in the offense, Foreman can be considered an RB3 for desperate fantasy managers.

Zac says Tee Higgins looks positive but will list him and Awuzie questionable and make them game time call. Tupou also questionable.

While Chase went absolutely nuclear without Higgins last week, Boyd didn't make much of his expanded role, turning his seven targets into a 6-39 stat line. With an un-hobbled Joe Burrow under center, Higgins should be in WR2 consideration if he's able to suit up.

The Bears have re-signed RB Darrynton Evans off the Dolphins’ practice squad.

Normally a depth RB signing isn't big fantasy news, but keep in mind the Bears lost Herbert, Johnson and Homer during Thursday night’s win over the Commanders. We already know Herbert is going to miss some time but there are still questions about Johnson clearing concussion protocol and Homer with a hamstring injury. The Bears host the Vikings in an early game in Week 6, so it's a situation to monitor in what is a potentially favorable fantasy matchup.

Wide receiver Tee Higgins is still "day-to-day," but did practice on Friday, which gives him a chance of suiting up against the Cardinals. "We'll sleep on it tonight and look at it tomorrow," head coach Zac Taylor told reporters on Friday.

It doesn't sound promising, but the Bengals offense could certainly use all the help they can get right now. While the 3WR-set of Higgins/Chase/Boyd is one of the best in football, the team is floundering with a non-mobile Joe Burrow and a struggling offensive line.
