Njoku's breakout season hits a speedbump after he had racked up 71 receiving yards and seven receptions on seven targets. Harrison Bryant will be the most likely beneficiary, as he was drafted in the fourth round of 2020's NFL Draft as a receiving specialist. Including Sunday's output, Njoku is the TE6 in fantasy, so hopefully, he can return to the field soon and pick up where he's left off.

The Carolina Panthers have traded WR Robbie Anderson to the Arizona Cardinals less than 24 hours after he was kicked off his own sideline.

Though Marquise Brown went down with a foot injury that could hold him out for a minimal amount of time, it's hard to see Anderson garnering a large role with the Cardinals. DeAndre Hopkins returns from suspension Week 7 and is guaranteed to be a target hog. Anderson should not be a waiver wire priority.

Christian McCaffrey was a game-time decision for the Panthers but he is active against the Cardinals.

The Patriots downgraded WR Jakobi Meyers (knee) to out for Sunday's game against the Packers.

Meyers was originally listed as questionable with a knee injury, but will now miss his second straight game. The Patriots will be without Meyers and, of course, QB Mac Jones at Lambeau, so it's Nelson Agholor and DeVante Parker as the top options on the outside for Brian Hoyer, our No. 32 QB this week. It could be a long day in Green Bay for the Patriots.

Vikings RB Dalvin Cook (shoulder) is off the injury report and will play against the Saints on Sunday in London.

Cook immediately plugs back in as an RB1 option for Sunday morning's game now that he's off the injury report. It's a good idea to make sure Alexander Mattison is not on the waiver wire in your league.

Cook is still considered day to day for Sunday, the tweet went on to say. It added they’ll try to get him some work at least in walk-throughs this week before making a decision on whether he will play vs. Saints. Mattison would get the start and be a potential RB1 candidate against the Saints in a game that will be played in London.

Head coach Kevin O'Connell says that Dalvin Cook is day-to-day after leaving Week 3 with a shoulder injury.

Mattison has proved over and over again that he is a legitimate fantasy asset when Cook is forced to miss games, including his 44-yard, two-touchdown performance in Week 3. He currently stands as the RB20 (before MNF) on the week, despite only logging 39% of the offensive snaps.

Patriots WR Jakobi Meyers spent today getting his knee checked out, per me and Mike Giardi.

Meyers didn't practice today, the story said. Tests showed nothing significant was wrong with his knee, and his status will be determined later in the week. Girardi reported Meyers did come out for the start of practice before heading back inside. He made a brief locker room appearance and was moving very stiffly.

This is, of course, a bold prediction. But it also comes from a very reliable source and comes with Josh Jacobs trending in the wrong direction.

The Raiders are currently carrying five running backs (plus a fullback), so if Jacobs really loses this much ground game work to rookie Zamir White, the veteran's fantasy season is going to be miserable. Amongst those other running backs resides Brandon Bolden, who has a rich history of catching passes out of the backfield in a Josh McDaniels offense.
