Seahawks WR D'Wayne Eskridge is doubtful for Week 2 as he remains in concussion protocol according to John Boyle of the Seattle Seahawks

The rookie is likely to miss Week 2 after not practicing all week and not passing concussion protocol. Penny Hart could be a deep receiver option if you are already desperate.

Patriots TE Jonnu Smith is questionable for Week 2 because of a hip injury according to the team's official injury report.

Smith has had nagging injuries over the past few seasons and a limited practice Friday forced a questionable tag. If Smith sits, Hunter Henry would jump into top 10 tight end territory for Week 2.

Browns WR Anthony Schwartz is questionable for Week 2 against the Browns according to Scott Petrak of BrownsZone.com.

The rookie showed out in his NFL debut and was a safe target for Baker Mayfield. With Odell Beckham Jr. already out, Schwartz's potential absence would be more work on Rashard Higgins and Donovan Peoples-Jones.

The rookie Eskridge has had a rough start to his NFL career. The likelihood he plays is slim so receivers Freddie Swain and Penny Hart, and tight end Will Dissly stand to see increases in snaps.

However the offense takes shape, Hunter Henry and Jonnu Smith, the team’s highest-paid and most established weapons, will be featured. They are the rock upon which Bill Belichick has rebuilt his offense. And offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels isn’t discouraged whatsoever by their lack of time together this summer.

The story went on to say signing Henry and Smith was an organizational recommitment to reclaiming the middle of the field, where the Patriots have drawn battle lines for two decades. Belichick has preached winning between the numbers since his days coaching in Cleveland. If Henry and Smith succeed in the box and down the seam, Jones will thrive. Smith and Henry were banged up a lot during camp and missed valuable time, so it remains to be seen how quick the team can turn to this offense and have success. We have Smith ranked higher but, based on this story, it's possible Henry could turn into a sneaky pick and play this season.

Hunter Henry injured a shoulder in the Aug. 8 practice. He missed the entire preseason.

The tight end, though, expects to play Sunday in his Patriots debut.

Henry and Smith, another free agent addition, have yet to share the field together in a game setting, the story pointed out. Of course, fantasy owners are wondering which TE emerges as the go-to guy in the offense. A wait-and-see approach may be the best bet if you have another TE option.

The Chiefs used a lot of multiple tight end formations during Reid's early seasons. From 2014 through 2017, they were in the NFL's top 10 every season in number of plays out with three tight end personnel groupings. They led the league in that category in 2016.

But the Chiefs since moved away from those formations as they improved at wide receiver, adding first Tyreek Hill and later Sammy Watkins and Mecole Hardman. They used no three tight end formations in either 2018 or 2019 and though they did use two tight ends on occasion, Travis Kelce was on his own a lot in terms of his position.

That will change this season.

The story said the Chiefs may not always use all four TEs at one time, but they have tinkered with it in practice and the preseason, especially close to the goal line. And, they've had success with it, scoring a TD against the Vikings in the preseason. Four TEs on the field would obviously be bad news for Hill owners because it would mean he's not on the field in those situations. Gray could be a player to keep an eye on as he's the team's fifth round pick from this year's NFL Draft.
