Dolphins running back De'Von Achane played just three snaps in Sunday's game against the Las Vegas Raiders before leaving with a knee injury, but head coach Mike McDaniel said his removal was precautionary.

McDaniel said Achane got landed on and it was a little painful. McDaniel added Achane was politicking trying to come back in the game but McDaniel "was a little worried with the rust." McDaniel added Miami's trainers essentially cleared Achane to play, but he made the ultimate call to keep him on the sideline for the remainder of the game. It was obviously disappointing for fantasy owners as he made his return, but it sounds like Achane should have a chance to play in Week 12. It was the same knee that was landed on that caused Achane to go on the IR.

Dolphins HC Mike McDaniel says nothing final yet but is “very optimistic” about RB De’Von Achane playing Sunday vs. Raiders.

Guard Robert Hunt is ruled OUT. McDaniel said it’d be “pretty risky” to play Sunday.

Chase Claypool had a minor knee procedure over the bye week. He’s week-to-week.

If Achane is cleared for Sunday, you absolutely have to get him in your lineup as an explosive RB1 option. Still, Mostert can be used as well, even in the same lineup.

This was the expected timeline and he can be activated from IR anytime, the post went on to say. Owners can be hopeful Achane is good to go for Week 11. The Fins have an early Sunday game hosting the Raiders so be sure to keep an eye on Achane's practice status this week, but his long-awaited return seems close. Fantasy owners likely remember Achane ran for 455 yards in his last three games which scoring seven TDs in that span.

De'Von Achane "so far, so good" and "hasn't been any reason" to think he will be on IR longer.

Achane is eligible to return in the team's next game, which comes Week 11 after the bye this week. Achane ran for 203, 101 and 151 yards in three weeks before his injury. He also scored seven touchdowns over those three games, including 4 alone in the blowout win over Denver. With the Dolphins losing two of their last three games and going 3-3 over their last six, there's no reason to think Achane won't slide right back into his role before the injury.

Eagles TE Dallas Goedert has a fracture in his arm and is expected to miss about four weeks.

Goedert will have an MRI and will have surgery, possibly today, Rapoport said. He's certainly an IR/return candidate given the timeline, which is overall good news. It's a significant drop off from Goedert. Calcaterra and Stoll are up next and we may even have an Albert O sighting over the next month. Stoll is probably the starter based on snaps played this season. All three backup TEs have a combined two catches this season, and both were by Stoll.

Dolphins RB Raheem Mostert said he will play Sunday vs. the Patriots.

Just had a little ankle tweak that had him miss practice on Wednesday. He returned Thursday & Friday and is all good.

One would assume that Waddle would absolutely eat with no Tyreek on the field, but we may see a wider target tree if the WR1 were forced out of Week 8. Berrios has actually ran the second-most routes on the team over the last two weeks, so he may end up being the contingency plan for fantasy purposes. We'll keep an eye on Hill's status through the rest of the week.

Jaylen Waddle, the third-year wide-out, suffered a back injury at some point during the early stages of the game.

Waddle tried to tough out the injury but eventually headed to the locker room early, walking very gingerly, and was deemed questionable to return by the Dolphins, the story pointed out. The story went on to say, according to the broadcast, Waddle was "on all fours" on the sideline at times and was wearing an electric heating pad to try to loosen up the injury. He was reportedly "yelling in pain" on the sidelines as well. The story also pointed out that Waddle had never dealt with a notable back injury during his career to this point. The good news was Waddle was able to return to the field in the third quarter, however, this is something owners will want to monitor this week.
