Treylon Burks remains in concussion protocol.

Head coach Mike Vrabel said Burks is not likely to be available this week, according to the rest of the post. Burks went down in a scary incident in Week 9 against the Steelers.

Vrabel said he wants Tannehill to also prepare as a starter but in the end he'll serve as the backup. Vrabel went on to say via McCormick's post, "that's where the Titans are at right now," and that, "There is clearly something there with Levis and we want to prepare him and win with him." Willis threw four TDs in his first game but also played OK in a loss to the Steelers last Thursday on a short week.

It would not be surprising if Burks missed Week 10's action, but there is no word yet on his status. It's good news that he avoided a serious injury.

Report: Ryan Tannehill, Malik Willis

Levis threw four TDs in his debut in Week 8. One may be thinking the Titans are telling Tannehill to take his time coming back, but the reality is the Titans play on a short week against the Steelers on Thursday night. Fowler included in his post that Tannehill is still recovering from a high ankle sprain, and likely needs more time.

Burks has been dealing with a knee injury since Week 2. Burks should slide into a WR2 role on the team but it's looking like Ryan Tannehill won't suit up in Week 8. We reported earlier today the Titans could use both Malik Willis and Will Levis in Week 8 if Tannehill is unable to go. Burks will be a risky start in fantasy lineups this week.

For what it's worth, Tannehill is not practicing Tuesday due to an ankle injury. One can perhaps assume Levis has a chance to take on a bulk of the snaps with Willis coming in as a change of pace or even in the red zone, similar to a Taysom Hill-type role. But for now, the news leaves just about anything as a possibility. Outside of deeper leagues, superflex leagues and deep dynasty leagues, it's probably a situation to stay away from it at all possible, at least until we get a better idea of how the situation could play out.
