As Christian Watson and Sammy Watkins continue to nurse hamstring and knee injuries, it opens the door for the rest of the depth chart to rotate in, and it would seem that fourth-rounder Doubs is making the most of his time on the field. It's not farfetched to think that Doubs and fellow rookie Christian Watson could cut out a large role with —or ahead of— Allen Lazard and soon-to-be 32-year-old Randall Cobb. Aaron Rodgers' trust issues be damned.

Schroeder added in his tweet that something was noticed with Watson at OTAs, and they decided to address it now instead of waiting until after the season. Of course, no other information was available so it's something to keep an eye on. This is valuable time to miss for a rookie WR.
