Can confirm Jacoby Brissett suffered sprain to left MCL.

As reported as early as Sunday night, the Colts haven't ruled Brissett out of Miami game, yet, in Week 10. The team is waiting for MRI results to determine severity. Hoyer would get the start in a very winable matchup that may cause the Colts to just play it safe with Brissett this week.

The Bears signed running back Mike Davis to a two-year, $6 million contract this offseason. That has not gone well, and if General Manager Ryan Pace is smart, he’ll admit his mistake and cut Davis this week.

The Bears can get a fourth-round pick if they cut ties with Davis before Week 10. Davis has just 11 carries for 25 yards and that doesn't figure to go up much with the emergence of Montgomery in the backfield.

Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen's comeback from a hamstring injury was shortlived.

Thielen started on Sunday against the Chiefs but left in the first quarter after re-injuring it. The injury first occurred in Week 7 against the Lions on a touchdown catch.

Thielen was listed as questionable to return but sideline reports said Thielen commented he was done for the day. It's a re-injury to the hamstring Thielen has battled over the last several weeks. Owners should probably consider him week-to-week. To complicate matters, the Vikings play Week 10 on Sunday night so owners should probably have a backup plan.

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Jacoby Brissett injured his left knee early in Sunday's loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Brissett went down early in the second quarter after a short incompletion on first-and-goal from the 12-yard-line. The Colts QB jogged to the sideline and was checked by trainers on the sideline.

The Colts think the injury is a sprained knee, and perhaps "MCL-ish" according to HC Frank Reich. If Brissett has to miss time, which seems like it's a possibility at this point, Hoyer would take over as the starter.

Ed Werder is reporting from his sources that there is a chance Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes will play Sunday against the Vikings.

This is certainly a positive development but it’s a true 50/50 shot. Mahomes was limited in practice all week. The Chiefs also brought Chad Henne back from injured reserve Saturday so its very tough to say whether or not Mahomes will actually start. It’s a true game-time decision. We’ll know for sure by about 11:30 eastern tomorrow morning.

Vikings WR Adam Thielen is considered “50/50” to play Sunday against the Chiefs but he is optimistic he’ll be in the lineup.

Thielen was limited in practice this week but the thought is that he will be good to go. Be sure to keep a close eye on the inactives announcements Sunday to be sure. The Vikings play at 1:00 Sunday, making life a bit easier on Thielen fantasy owners.
