Jets to start QB Bryce Petty final four games

Jets coach Todd Bowles has, at long last, made the decision to sit quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick for good, and get an evaluation of second-year pro Bryce Petty as the starter.

Petty will start the final four games for the 3-9 Jets, beginning with Sunday's trip to San Francisco.

Fantasy Impact:

Fitzpatrick was benched once already, after the Jets started 1-5. He was benched again at halftime of Monday night's 41-10 loss to the Colts. Fitzpatrick threw an interception and had a 30.2 quarterback rating in the first half. Petty has some talent to work with at WR and RB but it remains to be seen how much of a spark he can provide so he'll be a risky fantasy option.
