Panthers TE Greg Olsen (back) says he plans to play Week 2.

Olsen told Reed his back got "jacked up" in the game against the Rams. Olsen added the short week, Thursday night game against the Bucs is "not idea" for his injury. Looks like Olsen will play but perhaps Thomas gets a few more snaps than usual.

It's a bit of a crapshoot as to who the "WR2" on the offense will be, but now that he's ruled out, Brown and Goedert should get a nice boost to their bottom line. That would lock Goedert into a no-doubt TE1 role in Week 12.
