Chargers to activate TE Hayden Hurst ahead of TNF

The Chargers plan to activate TE Hayden Hurst from Injured Reserve to play in tonight’s game against the Broncos, source says.

Hurst went on IR with a hip injury in late November, but he’s practiced fully since having his window opened this week.

Fantasy Impact:

This puts a bit of a damper on Smartt as a streaming option in Week 16, as he should lose a little bit of usage to the vet. When (if) Dissly returns, he will likely also be off the radar as the situation gets a little too clogged up.

Week 13 at Atlanta Falcons

The thing about Will Dissly is that he actually might be good. However, when the offense features Josh Palmer and Quentin Johnston more than him and he has more yards and catches combined than both of them, it's not great—not great for the Chargers and not great for Dissly.

Dissly is outside of the TE1 range this week, but the Falcons are a neutral matchup for tight ends (14th aFPA) and could be considered in your flex spot if you're out of other options.
