Giants rookie WR Malik Nabers popped up on the team’s injury report and is being listed as limited in today’s practice due to a knee injury.

As long as Nabers plays, he should be on the WR2/3 fantasy radar, as the only legitimate weapon on this offense outside of Daniel Jones' legs. We'll keep an eye on his status as the week progresses.

Giants head coach Brian Daboll shared some positive news on the injury front in his Tuesday morning press conference.

Via multiple reporters on the scene, Daboll said receiver Malik Nabers went through full testing for his ankle injury and is “good.”

While the Giants will keep Nabers out of practice on Tuesday, he should be OK going forward, as Daboll said it’s not a long-term injury, the story said. This was the trend even on Monday, however it's always nice to get official word. Nabers suffered the ankle injury during Sunday’s practice.

Reports indicated Giants rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers avoided a major injury during Sunday’s practice and head coach Brian Daboll confirmed that with an update to Nabers’s condition on Monday morning.

The story went on to say word was Nabers suffered a minor ankle sprain and Daboll said at his press conference that the first-round pick did not have a fracture. Daboll said that Nabers will not practice on Monday and that the team will take things day by day moving forward.

Nabers initially limped off the field and took his shoe off. The first thought was an apparent foot injury for Nabers. The Giants do not seem overly concerned about the injury, per ESPN. That is good news for the potential breakout rookie. Nabers has had a strong training camp to this point.

Malik Nabers has that special quality the Giants have not had since Odell Beckham Jr.: he demoralizes defenses.

Stapleton went on to say he thinks Nabers might be better at the top of his routes than OBJ was as a rookie. He added that it could be the case that even though Nabers is covered, he's still open. Nabers was obviously hyped during the draft so he continues to prove his ability at camp. Some even considered him the top WR prospect, ahead of Marvin Harrison. Nabers is ranked 27th on our WR list heading into drafts, but has some things working against him with the Giants.

The Giants have signed veteran WR Allen Robinson.

Allen Robinson has been one of the least efficient full-time receivers in the league over the last few seasons, notching 1.13, 0.93, and 0.70 yards per route run with the Bears, Rams, and Steelers. His role is most likely to put a dent in Wan'Dale Robinson's usage, rendering both Robinsons obsolete in fantasy.
