NFL Spread and O/U Picks: Hunter's Week 16 Best Bets
Teams had a good weekend if they made it through Week 15 avoiding a quarterback benching or injury in Week 15. Jameis Winston was benched after 3 interceptions and replaced by Dorian Thompson-Robinson, who promptly threw a pick himself. Will Levis was benched after a 3 pick, 1 fumble performance and was replaced by Mason Rudolph, who also promptly threw a pick himself. Tua Tagovaioa and Anthony Richardson had performances that should have relegated them to the XFL. Justin Herbert, Patrick Mahomes, and Geno Smith all came away from their respective games with lower leg injuries and will have to be monitored this week to see their status going into Week 16.
For me, it was another week of not being able to pick the correct side in a game. A couple of poor calls (Detriot and Seattle), and two more sides were just a collection of errors in the turnover department. A Jonathan Taylor fumble through the end of the endzone was just the beginning of a horrendous 2nd half-collapse as the Broncos scored 31 points off just 193 total yards (typically good for about 13 points). Our week went 2-5 for -7.25 units. Let’s see if I can put something positive together in Week 16 as we inch closer to the end of the regular season.
