The Chargers have ruled out WR Keenan Allen (hamstring) and TE Donald Parham (hamstring) vs. the #Chiefs, while CB JC Jackson (ankle) is questionable.

With Allen out and Williams an uneventful Week 1, players like Palmer, Carter and even Guyton could have to step up in Week 2 in what could be a high scoring game against the Chiefs.

The tweet went on to say there is optimism after tests that his hamstring injury isn’t anything long-term, per sources. The Bolts Week 3 game is Sept. 25 against the Jaguars, two full weeks after the injury and the hope is there is a chance Allen will be ready to go for that contest. Allen led the way with a 4-66-0 line but Williams was pretty much a no-show. Carter posted a 3-64-1 line and Everett a 3-54-1 line. Palmer had three catches for just five years.

Ravens RB J.K. Dobbins (knee) will be inactive Sunday against the Jets.

Dobbins was testing out his knee in pre-game and was listed as questionable for Week 1, but the Ravens are going to sit him this week to give him more rest. He told ESPN's Dianna Russini he'll be back "soon". This means it will be Mike Davis and Kenyan Drake leading the charge. Both sit outside our top 40 running backs in half-PPR, as it will be hard to decide which veteran will see more work or if this will be a true committee against the Jets. Being that it's Week 1, you likely have better options anyway, so go with those options.

Harbaugh said he will determine by the end of the week which running backs are active for Week 1. But the tweet added Harbaugh was positive on what he’s seen from Dobbins. With Gus Edwards out, the RB duties would fall on Davis and Drake if Dobbins can't go Week 1.

With Edwards out, the Ravens are hoping Dobbins can be ready for Week 1, but they've taken some precautions in case he's not. Davis would likely see a bulk of the early down work with perhaps the newly signed Drake mixing right in. If not, Hill could see some passing down action as well.

The Philadelphia Eagles are trading former first-round receiver Jalen Reagor to the Minnesota Vikings for a 2023 seventh-round pick and a 2024 conditional fourth-round selection, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Wednesday, per sources.

Reagor was taken with the No. 21 overall pick in the 2020 draft.

Reagor needed a fresh start as he never was able to take off in Philly as a first round pick. Ironically, the Eagles passed on Jefferson that year and drafted Reagor instead, and now the two are teammates. Reagor could battle for a WR3 or WR4 spot with the Vikings but will have a way to go before being fantasy relevant.

That was fast: The Bengals are hosting FA TE O.J. Howard on a visit today, and assuming all goes well with the physical, he’s expected to sign, the source said. The former first-rounder was a surprising cut yesterday, and this should come together today.

Howard didn't have a great camp with the Bills, which caused his release. He had one standout game with the Bucs last year against the Eagles on a Thursday night, but other than that, it's been a while since Howard has been fantasy relevant. He could carve out a role on the Bengals, but the team has plenty of other targets for Joe Burrow. However, C.J. Uzomah - now with the Jets - was a red zone target for Burrow last season.

The team signed Drake with a lot of uncertainty surrounding Dobbins and Edwards for at least the early part of the season. It looks like Hill beats out Badie for the final RB spot. With Edwards out for Week 1 and Dobbins a big question mark, it's possibly going to be Davis, Hill and Drake getting the work if Dobbins can't go in Week 1.

As expected, Kenyan Drake is signing with the Ravens.

Those who have fantasy stock in the Ravens backfield were likely pretty worried when word got out Drake was visiting the Ravens. Now that he's signed, the backfield has got a little more crowded to say the least. Drake's role will likely be mostly pass catching, especially when the backfield is healthy. We know Edwards won't be ready for Week 1, and Dobbins remains a big question mark. That means a backfield of Davis and Drake for Week 1 is a possibility.
