Guillotine League Week 14 Waiver Wire Options & FAAB Breakdown
This is the final chopped waiver wire column of the 2024 season for guillotine leagues. I’ll be writing a strategy piece from Weeks 15-17 and then a primer for what’s coming up next for guillotines in the NFL postseason.
If you haven’t been paying attention, this is the last week to pick up chopped players and after that, they are unavailable for the rest of the year. All other free agents remain available for bidding.
So you’ll want to spend most of what you have left, leaving a little bit for any regular waivers for the rest of the season. Not only will there be injuries that make someone more valuable than they were just a week ago, but someone will likely drop a player they shouldn’t have so you'll want to have a few bucks to beat out the rest.
Some big names were chopped last week so there should be plenty of players to add. Here are the top 10 players chopped across all positions and the percentage of leagues where they were axed.
Team | Position | Player | Chopped % |
---|---|---|---|
SF | TE | George Kittle | 33.4% |
LAR | WR | Cooper Kupp | 33.4% |
DAL | WR | CeeDee Lamb | 29.5% |
NYJ | RB | Breece Hall | 26.8% |
SEA | RB | Kenneth Walker | 25.8% |
SF | RB | Christian McCaffrey | 25.1% |
CAR | RB | Chuba Hubbard | 24.9% |
DET | RB | Jahmyr Gibbs | 24.7% |
PHI | WR | A.J. Brown | 23.0% |
DET | WR | Amon-Ra St. Brown | 21.9% |
Quarterbacks
Team | Position | Player | Chopped % |
---|---|---|---|
PHI | QB | Jalen Hurts | 20.8% |
TB | QB | Baker Mayfield | 18.0% |
CIN | QB | Joe Burrow | 17.1% |
KC | QB | Patrick Mahomes | 16.5% |
BAL | QB | Lamar Jackson | 14.9% |
DEN | QB | Bo Nix | 13.0% |
LAC | QB | Justin Herbert | 12.6% |
With just five teams left per league, you likely have an elite QB but grabbing the right backup is also important. Lamar Jackson is off this week but is worth a decent chunk ($40). Jalen Hurts was the QB chopped at the highest rate last week and has a mixed schedule remaining, but is still worth the add for around $35. Joe Burrow, Baker Mayfield, Patrick Mahomes, and Justin Herbert are all viable backups if someone goes down and can be had for somewhere around $10.

BUF | RB | James Cook | 13.4% |
GB | RB | Josh Jacobs | 12.3% |
TB | RB | Rachaad White | 12.3% |
Breece Hall is a fantastic football player but his offense isn't consistent and neither are his fantasy points. He has just four touchdowns this season and he’s a risky add in this format. If you want him, throw $10 Hall’s way.
Kenneth Walker is averaging 18.3 touches per game in 2024 which he’s translated into the RB10 per game in PPR scoring. His schedule isn’t the softest down the stretch but his volume makes him one to bid on. Walker should go in the $10 -$15 range.
Chuba Hubbard had his lowest output since Week 1 which included a brutal overtime fumble that cost Carolina the win. He wasn't targeted as a receiver at all which is a bit concerning plus Hubbard does have a brutal schedule that we can’t ignore, one featuring the Eagles, Cowboys, and Bucs, who rank third, fifth, and 12th in RB aFPA in a PPR format. He’s an under-$5 player.
Jahymr Gibbs is a guy you want to go into the end battle with as he’s fairly safe from a total bust week. The Lions have a favorable schedule for RBs for the next four weeks which also helps. Gibbs is worth at least $40 but possibly more if people have that kind of FAAB to spend.
There are a lot more RBs on this list who are worth rostering until the end, with nearly all of them capable of winning championships. Prioritize Saquon Barkley, Derrick Henry, Alvin Kamara, Kyren Williams, Josh Jacobs, Chase Brown, James Cook, and David Montgomery.
Standard Waiver RB
- Isaac Guerendo, 49ers (99.7% available) - He’s the lone RB left for SF in the RB room and is worth around $25.
Wide Receivers
Team | Position | Player | Chopped % |
---|---|---|---|
LAR | WR | Cooper Kupp | 33.4% |
DAL | WR | CeeDee Lamb | 29.5% |
PHI | WR | A.J. Brown | 23.0% |
DET | WR | Amon-Ra St. Brown | 21.9% |
NYJ | WR | Garrett Wilson | 21.4% |
SEA | WR | Jaxon Smith-Njigba | 18.2% |
BAL | WR | Zay Flowers | 16.6% |
MIN | WR | Justin Jefferson | 15.8% |
SEA | WR | DK Metcalf | 15.7% |
NYG | WR | Malik Nabers | 15.5% |
DEN | WR | Courtland Sutton | 15.0% |
PIT | WR | George Pickens | 14.2% |
ATL | WR | Drake London | 14.1% |
LAR | WR | Puka Nacua | 14.0% |
HOU | WR | Nico Collins | 13.8% |
CIN | WR | Tee Higgins | 13.7% |
MIA | WR | Tyreek Hill | 13.3% |
CIN | WR | Ja'Marr Chase | 13.2% |
TEN | WR | Calvin Ridley | 13.1% |
Cooper Kupp had a bad week. It happens. This week he should see increased work as it may take more to keep up with Buffalo. The Rams' remaining schedule has a few tough contests against the 49ers and Jets but better days should still be ahead for Kupp and he’s worth an add at $20.
CeeDee Lamb is tough to trust as long as Dak Prescott isn't under center. He hasn't found the end zone since Week 8 and despite having a few soft games coming up, I don't want my guillotine season in his hands. If you want Lamb, he’ll likely go for $25-$30.
A.J. Brown has not seen an uptick in production without DeVonta Smith and has only scored one touchdown since Week 7. We all know what he’s capable of and Brown may get back on track once Smith returns to alleviate some of the coverage. He’s certainly worth a roster spot moving forward for around $30.
I don’t need to write much about Amon-Ra St. Brown. He’s the WR2 in PPR scoring on the season and is part of a high-octane offense. St. Brown is an empty-the-wallet guy.
Some more heavy hitters on this list should be bid on if available for you. Aim for Ja'Marr Chase, Nico Collins, Puka Nacua, Justin Jefferson, Tee Higgins, Tyreek Hill, Malik Nabers, George Pickens, DK Metcalf, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba. They’ll likely go anywhere from $25-$50.
Tight Ends
Team | Position | Player | Chopped % |
---|---|---|---|
SF | TE | George Kittle | 33.4% |
KC | TE | Travis Kelce | 19.8% |
MIN | TE | T.J. Hockenson | 16.4% |
TB | TE | Cade Otton | 15.3% |
George Kittle was a victim of the weather and had just one catch for seven yards in the snow. He’s the TE2 in PPR points per contest this season so if you need help in the TE department, you may want to place most of this week’s FAAB on him.
Travis Kelce saw 13 targets last week and he usually heats up toward the end of the season like the rest of the Chiefs. He’s worth a look if you’ve been struggling at TE and he’ll likely go for $10 or under.
