Guillotine League Week 11 Waiver Wire Options & FAAB Breakdown
Big congrats if you’ve made it this far in your respective guillotine leagues! Unless it’s a newer league that started later in the season, your roster is probably looking a lot different than it was in Week 1.
Now that we’ve reached double-digit weeks, we have to keep evolving our rosters, and guys who were “fine” just a few weeks ago can get you chopped now, as rosters get collectively better across the leagues.
For those of you who are new or need a refresher, guillotine leagues have an important December rule that will affect your waiver bidding strategies. Starting with players axed in Week 14, all chopped players are unavailable for the rest of the year. Any other free agents can be bid on. So, for those hoarding your dough, you only have four weeks left of open, unrestricted bids.
Now let’s get to it.
There were some pretty massive names to hit the most chopped list in Week 10. Almost everyone in the top 15 is a player you’d want on your squad at the end of the season.
Here are the top 15 players chopped across all positions and the percentage of leagues where they were axed.
Team | Position | Player | Chopped% |
---|---|---|---|
WAS | QB | Jayden Daniels | 22.8% |
PHI | RB | Saquon Barkley | 20.9% |
PHI | WR | DeVonta Smith | 19.5% |
MIN | WR | Justin Jefferson | 19.0% |
DAL | WR | CeeDee Lamb | 18.6% |
BAL | WR | Zay Flowers | 17.8% |
NYJ | WR | Garrett Wilson | 17.4% |
CHI | RB | D'Andre Swift | 17.0% |
MIA | RB | De'Von Achane | 16.8% |

LAR | RB | Kyren Williams | 15.7% |
LV | TE | Brock Bowers | 15.6% |
DET | RB | Jahmyr Gibbs | 15.3% |

Quarterbacks
Seven QBs were among the top 50 most chopped players last week.
Team | Position | Player | Chopped% |
---|---|---|---|
WAS | QB | Jayden Daniels | 22.8% |
MIN | QB | Sam Darnold | 15.1% |
TB | QB | Baker Mayfield | 13.3% |
DET | QB | Jared Goff | 12.7% |
BUF | QB | Josh Allen | 12.4% |
KC | QB | Patrick Mahomes | 12.0% |
ATL | QB | Kirk Cousins | 12.0% |
Jayden Daniels is the QB6 on the season but put up a brutal 8.6 fantasy points last week to get chopped at the highest rate among all players (22.8%). He’s faced three difficult pass defenses in a row and gets a fourth this week In Philadelphia. As far as the rest of the season goes, the rookie gets the Eagles one more time (Week 16) and still has a bye to sit out in Week 14. Bid on him if you want him, as Daniels does a have few good matchups but don’t spend more than $25.
Since there are only eight teams left fighting in these leagues, Josh Allen is the only other QB on this list worth spending a large sum of money on. The Bills signal-caller is the current QB5 and has a fairly neutral schedule for the rest of the season. The catch is his Week 12 bye. You'll likely have to spend $75-100 minimum for his services.
If you think Patrick Mahomes is an upgrade over your current QB, throw $40 his way but inconsistency has been an issue this season and that could get you chopped.
Standard Waiver QBs
- Russell Wilson -(78.5% available) Great matchup vs BAL this week and Week 16 - $1

CHI | RB | D'Andre Swift | 17.0% |

NO | RB | Alvin Kamara | 10.9% |
HOU | RB | Joe Mixon | 10.8% |
PIT | RB | Najee Harris | 10.8% |
Saquon Barkley and his hurdling abilities were chopped in 20.9% of leagues which was at the second-highest rate. The Eagles have already had their bye and Barkely has some smooth sailing for matchups, as only one opponent (LAR) falls within the top 10 in RB aFPA in PPR scoring. He’s worth opening that wallet for somewhere in the $250-$275 range.
D’Andre Swift is one of those tough calls in this format. He’s out-touched the Bears’ RB room 167 to 58 so far this season and is putting up fantasy RB2 numbers, as the RB20 overall and RB18 in PPR scoring on a per-game basis. However, the Chicago offense is a mess. We can hope that it can only get better from here, but it doesn't help that the Bears face the Vikings and Lions two times each, and they rank fourth and fifth, respectively in RB aFPA this season. Swift could end up being a decent flex, just don't spend more than $35 on him this week.
De’Von Achane put up just 10.2 points last week but was the leader in touches with 17, while Jaylen Wright had five and Raheem Mostert only saw the ball twice. The Dolphins have clearly taken a big step forward with Tua Tagovailoa back under center, and they have a pretty soft schedule with tilts against the Raiders and Patriots up next, teams that sit 29th and 26th, respectively in PPR aFPA to rushers. His pass-catching prowess and schedule warrant $150 of your remaining FAAB.
Derrick Henry was the sixth-most chopped RB last week as he scored his lowest output since Week 1. He’s still the king and is the RB1 both overall and on a per-game basis in PPR scoring. The Ravens' schedule isn’t exactly drool-worthy down the stretch and he’s part of the dreaded Week 14 bye, but if Henry is on the wire in your league, you have to go for him. The minimum bid for the Baltimore back is likely $200.
Some other RBs that were on a large percentage of chopped teams worth bidding pretty high for are Kyren Williams, Alvin Kamara, Jahmyr Gibbs, Joe Mixon, and Kenneth Walker. They will likely go for anywhere from $150-$175.
Josh Jacobs, Aaron Jones, David Montgomery, and Jonathan Taylor were also among the top 50, and are worth grabbing in the $50-$100 range.
Standard Waiver RBs
- Isiah Pacheco - (44% available) - $25
- Jaylen Warren - (70.3% available) - $5
- Audric Estime - (99.1% available) - $1
Wide Receivers
Eighteen WRs were among the 50 most chopped players after the Week 10 games finished.
Team | Position | Player | Chopped% |
---|---|---|---|
PHI | WR | DeVonta Smith | 19.5% |
MIN | WR | Justin Jefferson | 19.0% |
DAL | WR | CeeDee Lamb | 18.6% |
BAL | WR | Zay Flowers | 17.8% |
NYJ | WR | Garrett Wilson | 17.4% |
HOU | WR | Nico Collins | 16.3% |
JAC | WR | Brian Thomas Jr. | 15.3% |
NYG | WR | Malik Nabers | 14.9% |
MIA | WR | Tyreek Hill | 13.1% |
NYJ | WR | Davante Adams | 13.1% |
HOU | WR | Tank Dell | 12.3% |
GB | WR | Jayden Reed | 11.7% |
SEA | WR | DK Metcalf | 11.3% |
LAC | WR | Ladd McConkey | 11.2% |
CHI | WR | D.J. Moore | 11.2% |
SEA | WR | Jaxon Smith-Njigba | 11.2% |
CIN | WE | Tee Higgins | 11.0% |
TB | WR | Mike Evans | 10.9% |
DeVonta Smith was the WR chopped at the highest rate last week thanks to a two-catch 14-yard day. He’s difficult to count on in this format as he'll put up some stinkers, considering he’s the WR2 in an offense that has A.J. Brown, Saquon Barkley, and a highly mobile QB. The next three games are plus matchups in Washington, the Rams, and Baltimore, as all sit 21st or worse in WR aFPA, so he could be worth adding just for those. However, don’t spend more than $15.
Justin Jefferson is on this list thanks to a WR32 performance last week in Jacksonville. Those are rare, as he’s been a fantasy WR1 in five weeks this season and only has one other output below WR20. If he’s free in your league, Jefferson should be bid on as you need superstars at the end of this thing. Don’t spend everything you have left, but a generous bid of $250-$300 is likely what it will take.
We hope that Nico Collins will be back and despite not playing since Week 5, he was on 16.3% of the axed guillotine teams last week. His remaining schedule is a mix of soft and hard opponents, and Collins is a member of the Week 14 bye gauntlet. The Texan is tough to spend too much on based on consistency and health, but he’s worth a stab for $75-$100.
Tyreek Hill, Garrett Wilson, and DK Metcalf are also worth at least $100 if available and guys like Jayden Reed, Ladd McConkey, and Zay Flowers are flex-worthy at around $50.
Standard Waiver WRs
- Calvin Ridley (45.9% available) - $1
- Jauan Jennings (46.3% available ) - $12
- Cedric Tillman (46.4% available) - $8
- Ricky Pearsall (81.5% available) - $5
Tight Ends
There were five TEs among the 50 most chopped players last week which is one fewer than last week.
Team | Position | Player | Chopped% |
---|---|---|---|
LV | TE | Brock Bowers | 15.60% |
TB | TE | Cade Otton | 13.70% |
ARI | TE | Trey McBride | 13.20% |
BUF | TE | Dalton Kincaid | 12.20% |
DAL | TE | Jake Ferguson | 11.40% |
The top three TEs on chopped teams last week are all among the top six at their position for the rest of the season. Brock Bowers and Trey McBride are worth bidding on this week but don't spend too much, I’d cap them at $25. Cade Otton is on a bye so isn’t worth the bid unless you want him to take a bench spot while you start another TE in Week 11. If so, throw $2-$5 his way.
