Miami Dolphins and WR Jaylen Waddle reached agreement today on a three-year, $84.75 million contract extension that includes $76 million guaranteed, per sources. The deal makes Waddle one of the league’s top five highest-paid receivers.

Waddle is now tied to Miami through the 2028 season, which locks him in with Mike McDaniel for years to come. Waddle recorded his third-straight 1,000-yard season last year, and is primed to do it again as a fantasy WR2.

Restricted free-agent WR Jauan Jennings is signing a two-year deal with the 49ers worth up to $15.4 million, including $10.5 million guaranteed.

Jennings did not sign his free-agent tender and instead did this deal, which is akin to a one-year extension.

The 49ers are doing all they can to insulate Brock Purdy with weapons, and that should continue to be the case, assuming they don't move on from Samuel or Aiyuk before next season. Jennings doesn't have any standalone fantasy value as it stands, but boosts the offense as a rotational WR3/4.

All of the tight ends should have opportunities to contribute in the passing game, but Pat Freiermuth has been the most consistent (and the most targeted) pass catcher of the group. After catching a career-low 32 passes for 308 yards and two touchdowns last season while missing time with a hamstring injury, he expects to be targeted not only more frequently but also in different ways.

The article also mentions how perspective QB starter Russell Wilson carried the Broncos TE room to a 32nd-ranked finish in receptions (39) and yardage (362) last season. It remains to be seen how much fantasy upside the Steelers offense can provide with Wilson/Justin Fields at the helm.

Jets are signing free-agent RB Tarik Cohen to a one-year deal. Cohen was one of the NFL’s top return specialists and a receiving threat before injuries derailed his career. Cohen last played in the NFL in 2020, but now will attempt his comeback with the Jets.

It feels like ages ago, but Cohen does have back-to-back 70+ reception seasons on his resume. If he can make the final roster, he could be able to take advantage of the new kickoff rules for the Jets. He shouldn't be considered a fantasy option at this point.

The Houston Texans and wide receiver Nico Collins have agreed to a three-year, $72.75 million extension that includes $52 million guaranteed. The contract has a maximum value of $75 million.

Collins, 25, is coming off a career-best season in which he had 80 receptions (ranked 23rd in the NFL last season) for 1,297 yards (ranked 8th) and eight touchdowns (tied for 8th) in 15 games.

Diggs is only playing on a one-year deal, as the Texans voided the final three years of his contract while giving him a $3.5M raise. If they allow him to walk next season, Collins will be the clear WR1, if he isn't already. Both receivers are good early-round options in fantasy drafts right now, with Tank Dell being an interesting option a few rounds later, even with Diggs in town.

CeeDee Lamb's absence has opened up opportunities for the Cowboys' young wide receivers, such as Jalen Tolbert, their third-round pick in 2022. After releasing Michael Gallup earlier in the offseason and not addressing the position yet with a known commodity in free agency or early in the draft, Tolbert has the chance to take the No. 3 role behind Lamb and Brandin Cooks.

Tolbert has had modest numbers through his first two professional seasons and was inactive for nine games during his rookie year. If he locks in the WR3 job he could be an interesting dart throw late in drafts.

Tight end Greg Dulcich, who dealt with hamstring injuries throughout the 2023 season, worked out on the side, but Payton noted the third-year player is “close” to full participation and won’t have to be held out of training camp.

With Dulcich missing almost the entirety of last year, there was basically no tight end usage in the passing game, with Trautman leading the room with 22 catches. Dulcich shouldn't be considered in typical redraft leagues but makes for a good stash in Dynasty.

New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones is already back on the field practicing during OTAs and has no doubt he will be ready for Week 1 against the Minnesota Vikings, despite tearing the ACL in his right knee late last year.

Jones showed no ill effects while participating in individual and 7-on-7 drills Thursday, just six months after injuring that knee in a November loss to the Las Vegas Raiders.

Jones -and the entire Giants offense- had an incredibly disappointing 2023. Of five complete games in which he attempted at least 20 pass attempts, he threw a touchdown in only one. Though he did show his ceiling in Week 2 when he threw his two '23 touchdowns and scored 30+ fantasy points. He is an interesting deep SuperFlex option with a bona fide WR1 (Malik Nabers) on the roster.

Daboll said WR Darius Slayton (wants new contract) and TE Darren Waller (mulling retirement) haven’t been attending the voluntary program. No word on when he expects either to join the team.

It seems more likely by the day that Waller is going to retire. This would make Bellinger a streaming option throughout the season, while Johnson would get quite the boost in Dynasty leagues.

Cowboys TE Luke Schoonmaker has a hamstring injury that is expected to sideline him throughout OTAs. He underwent shoulder surgery this offseason. Hamstring is now what is keeping him off the field. He missed his 2023 rookie spring with foot injury.

It seems likely that Ferguson will have the easy nod as the TE1 once again this season. He is currently ranked as a fringe top-10 option in our rankings.

Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said RB Keaton Mitchell is “on schedule” in his recovery from the torn ACL he suffered in Week 15, but he will not be back for training camp, and he is not expected back until “sometime during the season. It’s not like right around the corner.”

Hill and Ali will have a chance to lock down a backup role early in the season, but it remains to be seen exactly how large that will be. All three deserve dart-throw considerations behind Henry at the end of drafts.

Standing before a horde of media Tuesday for the first time since being acquired during an offseason trade, Justin Fields essentially said he sees an open competition with Russell Wilson for the Pittsburgh Steelers’ starting quarterback job.

The reality of the situation is that — barring injury — there is no chance that Fields will be the starting quarterback over Wilson for the season opener Sept. 8 in Atlanta.

The beat reporter's assurance should boost Wilson up the rankings a little bit, but let's not get ahead of our skis. The veteran looked terrible during his two seasons in Denver and could still cede time to Fields. Neither is worth more than a speculative add in deep SuperFlex leagues.

Rams coach Sean McVay tells reporters that RB Kyren Williams has a foot issue and won’t take part in the offseason program this spring. He should be back for training camp.

You have to wonder if the team had some inklings about this prior to the NFL Draft. Regardless, Corum is a very interesting target in early best ball drafts.

After nine NFL seasons, Eagles WR DeVante Parker has decided to retire, he said Monday night.

As much as he looked forward to his time with the Eagles, Parker decided the time had come to spend more time with his family that includes his four children.

Parker was projected as part of the back half of the WR rotation, so it could open up some usage for rookie Johnny Wilson down the field. The target share behind Brown and Smith will be light either way, though.

WR Justin Jefferson, who has been in talks with the Vikings regarding a contract extension, was not spotted at the team’s training facility today for the start of organized team activities.

This is likely a non-story for now, but we'll keep an eye on it. The Vikings WR depth chart isn't particularly deep behind Jefferson and Addison, so it would behoove the team to keep their star receiver on the field for Sam Darnold/J.J. McCarthy.

With the Chiefs kicking off their organized team activities today, WR Rashee Rice will be attending and participating in all activities.

Rice is dealing with legal issues, including a hit-and-run and an assault charge. We assume that he will be suspended, but the length of that suspension is still up in the air. What looked to be a promising sophomore season is now in question, making him a tough click on fantasy draft boards as it stands.

Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa is in the building for the start of Dolphins OTAs. The QB is slated to become the next quarterback to receive a big payday, but the sides are in negotiations. Tagovailoa said he was planning on attending the workouts.

Tua should be good to go for 2024, with one of the best receiving duos in the league. Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle remain respective WR1 and WR2s in fantasy.

Former Bears and Packers TE Robert Tonyan signed with the Vikings.

Good move by Minnesota to solidify their pass-catching tight ends while Hockenson works his way back to the field. Tonyan had a down year behind Cole Kmet last season but should be able to rotate in toward the beginning of the year with Oliver and Mundt.

The Buffalo Bills are signing former Chiefs WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling a 1 year deal worth up to $4.5 million, including a $1.125 million signing bonus.

We can basically look at this as a Gabe Davis replacement, but not exactly an upgrade. MVS will stretch defenses but shouldn't be considered anything more than a late-round best ball dart throw.

The Detroit Lions are signing quarterback Jared Goff to a four-year, $212 million contract extension that includes $170 million guaranteed, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Monday.

The deal makes the 2016 No. 1 pick the highest-paid player in franchise history.

The Lions lock up veteran QB Goff, and this is good news for the continued growth of Amon-Ra St. Brown, Sam LaPorta, and the rest of the offense. The quarterback should be considered a strong QB2 option and will have streaming opportunities throughout 2024.

Free agent WR Zay Jones is signing with the Cardinals. Another veteran option for Arizona, as Jones — who also visited the Titans, Chiefs, and Cowboys — lands.

This is a nice, solid signing by the Cardinals, who are giving QB Kyler Murray a lot to work with in 2024. Jones missed a lot of time last year with multiple injuries but managed to hit eight or more targets in each of his final three games with the Jaguars. He makes for an interesting late-round dart throw this season.

Bears head coach Matt Eberflus officially named Caleb Williams today as Chicago’s starting QB.

No surprises here for the No. 1 overall pick. Williams enters a great situation with fellow rookie Rome Odunze and should be in consideration as a fringe QB1 in fantasy right off the bat.

"That's the plan, to have both those guys really compete through the offseason program, but more so in training camp, and we'll see how it plays out."

The Raiders are set for a QB battle in camp with Gardner Minshew and Aidan O'Connell.

O'Connell had a decent enough rookie season, but still only managed 6.5 yards per pass attempt. Minshew would likely offer more upside for the fantasy pieces in Las Vegas.

The Giants have signed veteran WR Allen Robinson.

Allen Robinson has been one of the least efficient full-time receivers in the league over the last few seasons, notching 1.13, 0.93, and 0.70 yards per route run with the Bears, Rams, and Steelers. His role is most likely to put a dent in Wan'Dale Robinson's usage, rendering both Robinsons obsolete in fantasy.

Former Falcons free-agent wide receiver Scotty Miller is reuniting with Steelers offensive coordinator Arthur Smith in Pittsburgh on a one-year deal.

Scott Miller will add some veteran insurance if rookie Roman Wilson takes long getting up to speed. Miller's last productive fantasy season was in 2020, when he finished with a 37-581-4 stat line.

Tyler Boyd is signing with the Titans, on a one-year deal worth up to $4.5M

A reunion with Brian Callahan.

This signing makes all the sense in the world with Brian Callahan at the helm. Boyd should have a decent fantasy floor, but he is the third option—at best—with Will Levis at the helm. Slotting him into a lineup in typical redraft leagues will be difficult.

The Dolphins have agreed to terms with WR Odell Beckham, Jr.

It's a 1-year, $3M deal with incentives that can push it up to $8.25M

Beckham should work as a rotational third wide receiver behind Hill and Waddle and figures to have some high-output weeks from time to time. He figures to be a headache in typical redraft leagues but will be an interesting addition in best ball leagues.

Former Panthers WR and current FA DJ.. Chark has agreed to terms with the #Chargers on a 1-year deal worth up to $5M. A new landing spot for Chark, who visited with LAC before the Draft.

Related Players: Quentin Johnston, Joshua Palmer, Ladd McConkey

Chark, like most of the Panthers' pass-catchers, had a mediocre single season in Carolina, hauling in only 56.5% of his targets. It's been a long road since his 1,000+ yard season in 2019, but at the very least, he will offer Justin Herbert a little more firepower. He makes for a good dart throw in fantasy, as he could end up usurping Johnston and/or Palmer for snaps.

Former Eagles running back Boston Scott reached an agreement on a one-year deal with the Los Angeles Rams.

The Rams backfield now boasts Kyren Williams, Blake Corum, and Scott, amongst others.

The backfield is a little loaded in Los Angeles at this point in the offseason, but we can expect at least one cut from this group over the summer. Scott was once perceived as a receiving threat but accrued only six targets over ten games last season with the Eagles. He has no standalone value in fantasy.
