Week 6 Trade Value Chart, Targets, and ROS Rankings (Fantasy Football 2024)
Below, you’ll find fantasy football trade values by position after Week 5 of the 2024 NFL Season. Player write-ups after each set of positional trade values provide context on who to buy or sell, and there’s a full cross-position trade chart with 187 players at the bottom of this article (trade values can also be used as rest-of-season rankings).
Simply add up the player values on each side of a trade to evaluate how fair it is. Using this week’s player values, Mike Evans (65) and Jake Ferguson (30) for Jahmyr Gibbs (90) would be a relatively fair trade.
Fantasy championships are most often won by two or three-star players vastly exceeding expectations. While many trade charts let you concoct silly 3:1 deals to get Saquon Barkley, we’re confident you won’t be accidentally shipping off your best fantasy assets when using this one.
At the end of this article, you'll also find my expected fantasy points tables for each position. Think of expected fantasy points as usage-based metrics, rather than results-based. If a player fails to score on a goal line carry, it's worth noting they received that carry in the first place. The predictive model behind it all is proprietary, but you can view its outputs for every fantasy-relevant player.

Josh Allen: He appeared to suffer a concussion in Week 5 but remained in the game. He faces a tough Jets defense in Week 6, and his nine completed passes on 30 attempts last week were concerning. Without Khalil Shakir, it was even more apparent how diminished the skill group surrounding Allen is.
Jalen Hurts: He has the best usage in my expected fantasy points model at the position and should get A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith back this week.
Caleb Williams: The rookie is heating up, and he’s topped 300 yards in two of his past three games. He’s also rushed five times in all but one game this year. The upcoming schedule is tantalizing, with the Jaguars, Commanders, and Cardinals on tap.
C.J. Stroud: He may struggle until Nico Collins returns from IR, and players like Caleb Williams may out-produce him the next month in fantasy.
Saints offense: Derek Carr suffered an oblique injury Monday night, and he’s projected to be sidelined for several weeks. Alvin Kamara figures to take the smallest hit, as we could see a high check-down rate as we did at the end of last week’s game from backup Jake Haener. The Kamara touchdowns should drop, while the receiving work should rise.
Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed are going to be difficult starts in fantasy until Carr returns, despite the condensed offense. Think Miami Dolphins without Tua Tagovailoa for initial expectations.
Kirk Cousins: He’s looked healthier each week, though all Falcons pass-catcher stats are inflated after he threw for 509 yards and four touchdowns on a whopping 58 pass attempts in the team’s overtime victory on Thursday night.
Ravens and Bengals offenses: Reminder that there were 10 total touchdowns in this 41-38 affair, and we shouldn’t expect 348 passing yards and four touchdowns from Lamar Jackson. Nor should we get used to 392 yards and five touchdowns from Joe Burrow, though the Bengals’ atrocious defense is conducive to future shootouts. It was an encouraging game for both teams, of course. But, the Ravens are still a mess to predict each week in the receiving game. We likely see more games going forward where the Bengals receivers out-shine the committee at tight end, too.
Breece Hall and Bijan Robinson: I’m less panicked than the public with the two young studs. I suggest floating a few trade offers out there to see if their fantasy managers view them as 65-value players, rather than 90.
Kareem Hunt: The most unlikely bell cow of 2024 built off his strong Week 4 usage, and those buying him “high” were rewarded in Week 5. He carries 27 times for 102 yards and a score, along with bringing in a 15-yard catch in the receiving game. Hunt looks like a fringe fantasy RB1/RB2 type once the Chiefs get out of their Week 6 bye. He’s a good buy target still if the Hunt manager is desperate for a Week 6 win (0-5, 1-4 or 2-3 start).
Jordan Mason: The clock might be running out with Mason. He has a short turnaround this week against the Seahawks in Week 6. In Week 7, he faces the stout Chiefs run defense. Week 8 is a solid matchup against Dallas. However, after the Week 9 bye, Christian McCaffrey likely returns. You’re probably getting two strong fantasy weeks out of him, so this is a good chance to sell while the value is still high. In another week or two, the talk will surround McCaffrey’s return, destroying Mason’s sell window.
Jaguars backfield: Tank Bigsby had 13 carries for 101 yards and two scores in Week 5, while Travis Etienne managed just 17 yards on six carries. However, Etienne caught six passes for 43 receiving yards. Right now, it’s a true committee, but the fantasy community is a little too excited about Bigsby’s role. He’s unlikely to cut into Etienne’s pass-catching, and there’s a real chance Etienne can reclaim some rushing work moving forward, given his track record.
Vikings backfield: The team is on bye in Week 6, but Aaron Jones could very well miss Week 7 (hip). Ty Chandler is a savvy pickup if dropped, and he’s a nice trade target in deeper formats, where he’d be a fantasy RB2 in Week 7 if Jones were to miss time.
Giants backfield: In Devin Singletary’s absence, Tyrone Tracy carried 18 times for 129 yards and even ran more routes than Eric Gray in the receiving game. It’s tough to see the Giants putting the rookie back in the box after this effort, and Singletary takes a rest-of-season hit as a result, with Tracy a massive riser.
D'Andre Swift: After a slow start, Swift has 23 touches in back-to-back games, with at least 120 yards in each one. He’s a good player to buy into, as this offense continues to ascend. Roschon Johnson has scored three times in the past two games, but he does not appear to be overtaking this backfield. I wouldn’t even rank Johnson as a top-10 handcuff currently.
Rico Dowdle: I’ve been bullish on him for a few weeks now, as his role has steadily grown in this offense. Against the Steelers in Week 5, Dowdle carried 20 times for 87 yards, along with bringing in two passes for 27 receiving yards and a score. He looks like an every-week fantasy RB2 after Ezekiel Elliott mustered just 17 rushing yards on his six carries, along with zero receptions.
Buccaneers backfield: This continues to be a headache to predict each week, with both cutting into each others’ upside in fantasy.
Bengals backfield: This is now two weeks in a row where Chase Brown has been the 1A and Zack Moss has been the 1B.
Marvin Harrison Jr. He falls from the 90 tier back down to the 65 tier, as his fantasy success has been very tied to touchdowns. He’s scored four times in five games, but he’s only averaged 3.4 receptions and 56 yards per game to this point. He should continue to improve as his rookie season moves along, but he’s a clear tier below rookie Malik Nabers at this junction.
Nico Collins: He’s set to miss a minimum of four weeks on the IR with a hamstring injury, but it’s not clear just how much this will help Stefon Diggs and Tank Dell. The Texans' offense was noticeably diminished without his presence last week.
Cooper Kupp: The Kupp manager likely had a poor start to their fantasy season, so you might be able to pry him away during his Week 6 bye, knowing there’s a good chance he returns in Week 7.
Dolphins WRs: It’s time to buy back into this offense while they’re on their Week 6 bye. Tua Tagovailoa probably returns in Week 8.
Jalen Tolbert: With Brandin Cooks headed to IR, Tolbert stepped up and gave the Cowboys the best non-CeeDee Lamb receiver performance of 2024. He caught seven of 10 targets for 87 yards and a touchdown, and he’s immediately on the fantasy WR3 radar now that he’s not splitting time with Cooks. Even when the veteran returns, Tolbert has a good chance to hold him off with more strong showings moving forward, and the Cowboys’ underwhelming defense should force Dallas to continue throwing with high volume (40 attempts per game, 2nd-most).
Dontayvion Wicks: He deserves a mulligan after doing the least with a sizable seven targets in Week 5, given his track record of efficient play within this offense.
Jaxon Smith-Njigba: He’s a start when the Seahawks face defenses that struggle against the slot, but he should generally be benched in tough matchups. He’s more valuable on teams with deeper receiver rooms who can afford to start him only half the time.
JuJu Smith-Schuster: Though he had totaled just 277 receiving yards in his prior 15 games, the guy cut from the Patriots this offseason actually handled the Rashee Rice role for the Chiefs. Smith-Schuster caught seven of eight targets for 130 yards, with 83 of those yards coming after the catch. His six-yard average target depth was only slightly higher than what Rice’s had been through the first four weeks. There’s a chance this is a one-game spike, but with the Chiefs hurting for playmakers, it’s notable that Smith-Schuster, not rookie Xavier Worthy, had the massive performance.
Colts receivers: Be careful buying too much into Joe Flacco’s 359-yard, three-TD effort last week, in a game the team was also missing star running back Jonathan Taylor. Anthony Richardson is set to return in Week 6, so the offense will return to a much lower pass volume state.

Jake Ferguson: He has at least seven targets and six receptions in three straight, and he could soon flirt with Travis Kelce, Trey McBride, and Brock Bowers for TE1 overall rest of the season.
Tucker Kraft: The only thing separating him from tight ends like George Kittle and Sam LaPorta at this point is name value. All three are talented tight ends in high-scoring offenses with crowded receiving rooms.
T.J. Hockenson: There’s a real chance he returns in Week 7 after the team’s bye. He could immediately slot in as a top-five tight end rest of the season.
Tyler Conklin: He hasn’t scored yet, but he’s now averaged more than seven targets per game over his past three, reaching 55 yards in two of three. He’s at least a streamer moving forward.
